We usually love the cbeebies songs, pretty sad when at 38 you get excited about the song change coming up lol! The ultimate fav in our house is the autumn song – BUT – oh how dissapointing the winter song was, it just isn’t wintery, not in the slightest, I am sad to say I am not excited about the change coming up unless they’ve got a new one that is!!!

It’s ok, but quite dreary,and heck does it get LOUD towards the end – I keep wondering if it’s actually some pumping William Orbit produced Madonna effort and she’s going to leap out in fishnets and pointy things… which is not a pleasant image.

Nooo, the Autumn song is much much better – Mellow Fruitful Days, really jolly and everyone joins in. It’s a bit like Polyphonic Spree for toddlers.

My 18 months old son just loves it. He would stop whatever he’s doing when he hears it and come running to the TV room.

my daughter loves it! she’s 9 months old and every time she hears the song, she’ll start to dance!

Have to agree with most of you, it simply is not anywhere close to the usual great standard we have come to expect of these songs – in fact it is totally rubbish. Quite agree it looks as if the Beeb had run out of money on the job. Surely when the BBC know it is such a popular item, they could at least continue with the good thing they had? The Autumn one was the best yet, really feel good, uplifting, very memorable, great song and just a visual feast, but the winter one is drab, dull, lifeless, it all just looks and feels grey. 0 out of 10 from us.

My wife and I hate it. But then my 2.5 year old loves it. So what is good for us adults is not so good for the kids. It’s only a happy song in the end. what does it matter what they do so long as it’s innocent and gets the kids dancing and singing.

Well, my little boy George is just transfixed by this song. He is only 10 months old but rocks and croons to it. It is just wonderful to watch! Cbeebies has definitely got it right as far as our household is concerned!
