The multi-award winning cartoon animation series Grizzly Tales is guaranteed to scare even the naughtiest children into submission! Based on the hit series of books written by Jamie Rix and narrated by Nigel Planer (The Magic Roundabout; The Young Ones), Grizzly Tales will grab young imaginations with stories of misbehaving children who get their comeuppance.

New episode Tinklebell features Gilbert, a boy who refuses to eat the food on his plate. He offers a deal to his long suffering parents; if they eat the food on their plates for a week he will do the same for the rest of his life. There is of course a catch. Gilbert has to do the cooking and so he prepares revolting food, unfit for human consumption!

In The Flat Pack Kid, Humpty Egg is forever taking things apart to see how they work but never bothers to put them back together again, which means the Egg household is in permanent chaos. After several warnings, Humpty is fl at-packed by DIY Dave who has a penchant for power tools. Unfortunately, he forgets to put instructions in the pack so Humpty’s parents can’t put their son back together again!

Grizzly Tales can be seen on NickToons from Monday 2nd until Tuesday 10th May every weekday at 8.30am and 6pm

I first wrote about Kido’z at the beginning of this year. Basically Kido’z is an application for available for Windows, Mac and Linux which provides a safe environment in which young children can explore the internet. Content, in the form of websites, games and videos, is pre-approved by the Kido’z team, but parents can add content to their child’s account independently. Kido’z is a very feature-packed and kid-friendly program which My Kids TV thoroughly recommends.

Earlier this year Kido’z was upgraded. New features were added, including a system whereby children can send messages to parent-approved contacts using a fantastic picture-driven messaging system and they also have their own room which can be customised. BAFTA Award Winning Animation Lost and Found will be shown on Nick Jr for the first time on Friday 4th December at 6.30pm. To celebrate the broadcast My Kids TV has 5 copies of Lost and Found on DVD to be won!

Nick Jr will be treating viewers to an early Christmas gift with the channel premiere of Lost and Found, winner of Best Animation at this year’s BAFTA Children’s Awards. Based on the bestselling book by Oliver Jeffers, Lost and Found is a British made 24 minute film that features a combination of stunning animation, a mesmerising original score and narration from actor and national treasure, Jim Broadbent who brings this heart-warming story alive for all the family. It will be shown as part of the Nick Jr Christmas Movies season throughout December and early January.

Lost and Found is a magical tale of friendship and loneliness, telling the story of a little boy who one day finds a penguin on his doorstep. The boy becomes determined to help the penguin find his way back home… a task that proves harder than anticipated. Undaunted, the boy decides to take the penguin home himself by rowing all the way to the South Pole. However along the way the boy discovers that maybe home wasn’t what the penguin was looking for after all.
